Prepare the Keurig brewer

  1. Empty the water tank and if there is a filter remove that
  2. If there is an Auto Off function on your brewer then switch that off as per the manual before you begin
  3. Turn the machine off

Descaling Rinse

  1. Fill the reservoir with the applicable descaling solution or dissolve the tablet in the water as instructed
  2. Turn the machine on
  3. Place a large mug or jug on the Drip Tray and run a cleansing brew by lifting and lowering the handle, selecting a 10oz brew size and pressing the BREW button.
  4. Do not use a beverage pod
  5. Pour the contents of the mug or jug into the sink

Second Descaling Rinse

  1. Repeat the cleaning brew process until the display indicates “More Water Please”
  2. Let the machine stand for 30 minutes while still on
  3. After 30 minutes dispose of any residual solution and rinse the water reservoir thoroughly

Fresh Water Rinse

  1. Fill the water reservoir to the maximum level indicated
  2. Place a large mug or jug on the drip tray
  3. Run the largest possible brew size as a cleansing brew with the clean water
  4. Pour the contents of the mug or jug into the sink
  5. Repeat this process at least 12 times
  6. You may need to refill the reservoir to complete the process
